| What we're looking for:
An outgoing personable individual with a positive and mature
attitude who can assist our clients (mostly female) in portrait
purchase decisions. Good work ethic and reliability is a must. Someone with the ability to be a self starter
and the ability to pay attention to details.
About compensation: Position is
part to full time seasonally. Hourly wages plus commissions and
bonuses.
Abilities you should poses:
Good communication skills, sales ability, the ability to overcome
sales objections, basic computer knowledge (you'll need to know
basic windows keyboard shortcuts and file structure), experience in sales
and/or customer service..
Very helpful knowledge or abilities:
A knowledge of composition in art, any education in psychology or
formal sales training, Any experience in selling finery
(art, jewelry, furniture, etc.) is very helpful. Any knowledge of
graphic design is most welcome but not necessary.
Daily tasks include: Answering the
phone and booking appointments, greeting clients, presenting and
selling our portrait products. Also data entry, assembly of
mailings, light housekeeping, and other office routines.
It's ok if you love photography or own a camera, however, we
are looking for individuals who possess what we've mentioned
above.
